Travel Indochina reports impressive growth
By admin

Travel Indochina has recorded strong growth in sales to Sri Lanka, Bhutan, India and Japan, showing its range outside of traditional locations such as Vietnam and Cambodia.

Escorted Small Group Journey sales to Sri Lanka have leapt by 21% year on year, with Bhutan increasing by 11%, while both Sri Lanka and India FIT sales are improving, suggesting an ongoing interest to the subcontinent as a whole.

Japan is another destination that has seen a resurgence of interest and consumer confidence, with the Small Group Journey sales seeing a 318% increase each year, making it Travel Indochina’s second highest SGJ market.

The operator’s Cherry Blossom and Festival Small Group Journeys through March and April 2015 have sold out, while recently added double departures ex-Kyoto have already reached more than 50% capacity after five weeks on the market.

Travel Indochina’s 10-day Highlights of Japan journey is a popular trip with the company, which looks at both modern and traditional aspects of Japan, while giving guests ample free time to explore their own interests.
