World's first NEXT Hotel opens in Brisbane

Next Hotel Brisbane officially swung its doors open last night hosting a lavish event for over 300 guests to show off its new redeveloped design.

Officially opened by the Queensland minister for tourism, Jan Stuckey, Brisbane Lord Mayor, Graham Quirk and CEO of Silverneedle Hospitality, Iqbal Jumabhoy the 304 room, 4 star hotel in the heart of the city and will provide the savvy traveller with an impressive option on the Brisbane accomodation scene.

With an investment of just over $100 million and creating over 110 new jobs in Brisbane, special guests from Deep Blue and The Groove Academy performed on the evening entertaining guests throughout the night.

Guests were also the first to enjoy a menu specifically designed by executive chef, Todd Adams, as well as a dessert tree reveal and an after party on the pool terrace overlooking the Queen St Mall after the official ceremony.
