Aqua Expeditions unveils four new itineraries through Peru and the Amazon for Feb ’24
Edited by Travel Weekly

As demand continues to spike for travel through South America, Aqua Expeditions has launched four new seven-night sailings for February 2024, on the award-winning Aqua Nera.

Scheduled to set sail in February next year, the itineraries will see cruisers explore Peru and parts of the Amazon in what is described as a magical time of the year in the destination and will coincide with celebrations like the Candeleria Festival and the Carnival of Cajamarca.

Having sailed this region for almost fifteen years, the leaders in ultra-luxurious expedition vessels now have two world-class expedition ships exploring the wonders of the Amazon year-round, with the state-of-the-art Aqua Nera sailing alongside her sister ship Aria Amazon.

“It is our absolute pleasure to release these additional Aqua Nera sailings in February, a month that sees the Amazon truly come to life with an abundance of opportunities for our guests to witness more unique wildlife than ever and take part in immersive cultural adventures and local festivities,” CEO & founder, Aqua Expeditions, Francesco Galli Zugaro, said.

This is the perfect pairing for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure aboard the Aqua Nera, where guests can enjoy twice-daily excursions – spotting exotic wildlife, embarking on jungle walks, and exploring hidden lakes and lagoons – before returning home to a luxurious floating abode.

There will be a total of four new seven-night departures open in February 2024, with options for three and four-night sailings as well.
