Why the new UFO discoveries in the US and Canada are more concerning for travellers

For decades we’ve heard denial after denial regarding the existence of UFO’s, now they seem to be getting shot down on a daily basis.

Another object of an unidentified nature was downed early Monday morning in the skies above Lake Huron, which sits right on the border of the United States and Canada.

That followed the downing of two objects at the weekend. One above Canada and the other above Alaska.

But, what makes these new unidentified objects more concerning for the general public is the altitude they appear to be travelling at.

The Chinese spy balloon was pretty much out of the way at an altitude of 60,000 feet, but the latest ones a much lower. Flying at around 30,000 – 40,000 feet, the same height as a commercial airliner.

A US National Security Council spokesperson said the latest objects appear to be completely different to the spy balloon from China.

“These objects did not closely resemble and were much smaller than the PRC balloon and we will not definitively characterize them until we can recover the debris, which we are working on.”

In 2021, a pilot flying over Canada reported seeing a cylindrical object flying past his aircraft at speed. In an air traffic recording, the pilot says “I hate to say it, but it looked like a cruise missile.”

Investigations have been launched across many US government departments, and it’s unlikely we’ve seen the last of these unidentified visitors to North American skies.
