Bonza picks TrustFlight as tech partner

Bonza has selected TrustFlight, a digital aviation solutions company, for its paperless tech logs in an Australian aviation first – marking a win for sustainable travel.

The airline will deploy TrustFlight’s electronic aircraft technical logs and will make Bonza the first and only airline in Australia to go fully digital when it comes to tech logs (saving some 7,300 sheets of paper per aircraft, per year).

TrustFlight will also provide Bonza’s Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) with fleet technical management support that will help the airline launch with low-cost flights, thanks to highly efficient operations in addition to a robust culture of safety and compliance.

“Bonza is on a mission to deliver low cost, high-quality flights for the many and TrustFlight’s technology solutions are an important part of the equation,” Bonza CEO Tim Jordan said.

“They allow us to make the right sustainability decisions from day one, including reducing waste whilst also increasing efficiencies in our processes.

“We are proud to partner with TrustFlight thanks to their technical expertise and data analytics for the management of aircraft airworthiness.”

Karl Steeves, CEO of TrustFlight added: “Bonza will launch on its journey to becoming Australia’s low-cost airline of choice with TrustFlight solutions integrated at the outset.

“Bonza’s team will save time and expense with our intuitive electronic tech logs. And as one of the world’s largest outsourced CAMO service providers, we’re uniquely positioned to help forward-looking airlines like Bonza succeed with a strong technical and safety focus.”

The combination of TrustFlight’s service support and digital solutions means that Bonza will be able to maintain strong levels of airworthiness, safety and compliance, while achieving some of the lowest costs of operation within the industry.
