‘Unclaimed Baggage’ podcast returns with new name, calls on agents to send in stories

Podcast recording and broadcasting equipment in someones home. Everything is on a table in the kitchen.

The masterminds behind industry podcast Unclaimed Baggage are back for a second season, and are calling on the travel community to share their stories.

Best known for keeping the travel industry entertained during COVID with on-air stories of relatable fam faux pas, hilarious world news and fascinating destination spotlight interviews, hosts Tori Goddard and Tristan Freedman (Tori and T) are launching a new fortnightly series titled Two T’s in a Pod. And they need your help.

In a sector that has struggled the most throughout this time, many a side hustle has flourished, and Tori and T reckon there must be some fun stories to tell – the weirder, the better.

And what better time than during further lockdowns and border closures?

“T and I were absolutely overwhelmed with the success of our podcast, especially as it was really a hobby for us to begin with,” said Goddard, who is also the director of PR at Gate 7.

“Seeing as we are as different as chalk and cheese, we laugh non-stop and have so much fun recording each episode, and hearing that our listeners loved it as much as us is so heartwarming. I am incredibly excited to see what stories we can unearth from the travel industry for our next season, and can’t wait to get started.”

Freedman, who is also the regional director for North America at Vacaay, added: “We want to hear every wacky story out there – have you turned to gold panning? DJ-ing? Macaroni art?”

“During what is another gloomy period of COVID news, let’s uncover the craziest side hustles from the craziest people out there and have a laugh at the same time. Get heard, baby!”

So, if you have an interesting side hustle you’d love to share on the podcast, get in touch with Goddard and Freedman HERE.

Please include your contact details, information about your side hustle, and why you would like to feature on the podcast.

And, if you haven’t checked out the first season: Unclaimed Baggage, you can listen HERE.
