Online travel player Tripadvisor has unveiled a refreshed mobile app for iOS and Android users, just in time for the travel rebound happening across the globe.
The redesigned app, which can be downloaded via the App Store or Google Play, offers travel guidance and tips; a booking solution offering more than 400,000 experiences and 2.3 million accommodation options; a trip planning tool; COVID-19 health and safety information for hotels, restaurants, tours and attractions; and, of course, the opportunity to submit reviews and questions.
The launch of the refreshed app coincides with the rollout of a new digital campaign reminding travellers that #VacationsMissYou and that Tripadvisor is the easiest way to discover what they’ve been missing, whether planning or on the go.

Hey @Bermuda, are Bermuda shorts really Bermuda shorts if they’ve never been to Bermuda? Asking for a friend and their shorts. Because they both can’t wait to travel again. #VacationsMissYou pic.twitter.com/aWEpl0Xavg

“We took this past year to refresh our native app to better surface timely and relevant guidance and tips from travellers who have been there before,” said Lindsay Nelson, chief experience and brand officer at Tripadvisor.
“Providing more personalised inspiration for consumers, whether they’re already at their destination looking for a hidden gem nearby or planning ahead, is exactly how we’re helping everyone become better travellers.”
