FIRST LOOK: Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury Valley’s multi-million-dollar transformation takes shape

Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury Valley has provided a first look at its new accommodation offering as part of the property’s multi-million-dollar transformation.

The first of the resort and spa’s 75 guest rooms have been re-imagined with light-filled and modern interiors, and pay homage to Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury Valley’s historic roots with elegant archways and smooth, natural timber finishes.

They also feature in-room Chromecast technology, eco-friendly LED lighting and ergonomic, open-plan wardrobes.

Guests have eight room types to choose from at Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury Valley, from the Standard Queen Room with TV, modern en suite, queen bed and open wardrobe, all the way up to an extravagant Deluxe Balcony Suite with a king-sized bed, contemporary bath and views to the Blue Mountains.

The new-look accommodation also benefits corporate guests with the option of twin queen configurations.

The fourth and final stage of the 105-room hotel refurbishment is scheduled to be completed by April 2021.

Stephen Wills, general manager of Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury Valley, said the feedback from guests who have already experienced the new rooms has been “amazing”.

“The light, fresh style and openness of each room is really the most notable change admired by those staying with us, along with the new bathrooms, of course,” he said.

“Plus, we’re really excited because our best executive suites are still under refurbishment. We can’t wait for the feedback once these rooms are complete.”

While Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury Valley’s room refurbishment has taken centre stage, a number of other projects, including the refurbishment of Villa Thalgo Day Spa and the hotel’s public guest bathrooms, have also taken place.
