DoubleTree by Hilton Esplanade Darwin to reopen accommodation in February

Hilton has announced that DoubleTree by Hilton Esplanade Darwin will once again begin welcoming guests to stay next month.

Located in the heart of Darwin, the 197-room hotel temporarily closed its accommodation from April 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and will reopen on 9 February.

“Following a challenging few months, we are thrilled to announce the resumption of full operations at DoubleTree by Hilton Esplanade Darwin, marking a significant milestone for a team that has shown incredible resilience,” said Todd Grierson, cluster general manager for the Northern Territory at DoubleTree by Hilton.

“It is fortunate that conferencing and events at DoubleTree by Hilton Esplanade Darwin has remained open and has indeed been a critical part of the hotel’s recovery. The whole team is eagerly looking forward to hosting many more corporate and social functions this year.”

Guests will be able to enjoy access to well-appointed guest rooms and suites featuring signature Sweet Dreams by DoubleTree beds, a poolside restaurant and bar, a renovated fitness centre, the largest outdoor swimming pool in Darwin’s CBD, and underground guest parking.

DoubleTree by Hilton Esplanade Darwin is participating in the Hilton CleanStay Program, so guests can enjoy a COVID-safe stay from check-in to check-out.

“The safety and wellbeing of our guests and team members remain our highest priority, and we continue to be diligent in our commitment to provide a clean, safe and hospitable environment for all who enter our doors,” Grierson said.

To mark its reopening, the hotel will host its first-ever ‘Over-the-top Sunday Brunch’ on 21 February. where guests can enjoy a seafood-buffet style brunch menu with unlimited drinks, live entertainment by a trio-band and outdoor swimming pool usage.

Guests can also opt to stay during the reopening weekend with special room packages.
