G Adventures brings ‘G-Normous’ agent incentive to Australia for the first time

G Adventures brings ‘G-Normous’ agent incentive to Australia for the first time

G Adventures has brought its iconic ‘G-Normous’ agent incentive program to Australia for the first time to help support local advisors as travel bookings start to return.

Live now and spanning a four-month period up to 30 April 2021, the popular annual incentive program is even more G-Normous this year, with expanded reach to involve agents in Australia and New Zealand.

The top-selling Aussie or Kiwi agent each month will take home a $3,500 travel credit, with one random draw being held in April (from sales across the full four-month incentive period) when one lucky agent wins two $3,500 travel credits – one each for them and a friend.

G Adventures is also relaunching its agent discount program, offering up to 50 per cent off G Adventures trips to preferred partner agents.

This is to give agents the opportunity to lead the way for their customers as travel returns, and so they can see firsthand the positive impact travel has on local communities when done the right way.

Even though it took place during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, last year’s G-Normous campaign surpassed regional sales targets globally, with first-time agents comprising one of the largest booking segments.

Dan Coleman, national sales manager at G Adventures, said the company is especially excited about its G-Normous incentive this year, as agents look forward to getting travellers back out on the road.

“It’s important to have something to look forward to, so even though people are looking to book further ahead, we want to incentivise our agents to secure these bookings now,” he said.

“Despite the odds, last year’s G-Normous was incredibly successful in other markets thanks to our hard-working and driven travel advisor community, and we hope to replicate that success down under in 2021.”

As in past years, G Adventures will arm agents with selling incentives including travel credits and a series of consumer offers designed to entice travellers to book, starting with January’s ‘The Great Adventure Sale’, which offers up to 30 per cent off on select trips for departures through June 2022.

Regardless of the travel date, agents will receive one entry for each client booked on a G Adventures tour from 1 January to 30 April 2021, and they can check the Agents of Change Facebook group to get the inside lane on special offers and selling tips.

All agents with a G Adventures Sherpa account are automatically registered. Agents without a Sherpa account can register through their agency manager here.
