GFOB’s ‘Travel Champions’ game show wins at 2020 Content Marketing Awards

GFOB’s ‘Travel Champions’ game show wins at 2020 Content Marketing Awards

Globus family of brands (GFOB) has been recognised at the 2020 Content Marketing Awards for its industry-first ‘Travel Champions’ game show.

The event won the In-Person (Event) Content Marketing Strategy category at the awards, which were put on by the Content Marketing Institute.

Conceptualised by content marketing agency 3rdspace and hosted by TV presenter James Kerley, the game show saw agents across Australia battle it out through various rounds of questions about GFOB and the wider travel industry for the prestigious title of Travel Champions.

The event took place at a purpose-built studio in Sydney’s Entertainment Quarter in November last year. You can check out Travel Weekly’s recap of it here.

Gai Tyrrell, managing director for Australasia at GFOB, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be taking home this award, as the whole team got behind the event to help make it a huge success.

“We’re always looking for new and exciting ways to connect with and celebrate the travel agents we work with every day, and whilst we can’t get the industry together at the moment, we can’t wait until the time is right to celebrate together again.”
