Women in Travel Awards 2020 postponed

Due to the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, Travel Weekly has made the tough decision to postpone the Women in Travel Awards for 2020.

While we were initially hopeful that we could move ahead with this year’s awards by shuffling them to a later date, tight government restrictions on gatherings and social distancing measures appear to be in place for the foreseeable future.

Travel Weekly apologises to all those who have already submitted an entry to the Women in Travel Awards 2020 – your time and effort have not gone unnoticed. Our events team will be in touch to discuss ensuring your entry can be updated for the 2021 Women In Travel Awards.

Thank you also to our generous sponsors for their unwavering support throughout this difficult process.

An update on the Women in Travel Awards will be made in the coming days as we continue to work with the travel industry, our venues and continually assess projected timelines.

Travel Weekly remains 100 per cent committed to continuing our recognition and celebration of women who have achieved astronomic success in their professional arenas and made an invaluable contribution to the travel industry.

However, it’s important to remember that honouring exceptional women in their profession is more than just a night to remember – it’s a movement that we strive to grow as each year passes.

In this time of unprecedented change, we encourage you to draw on the strength of the Women in Travel movement and continue to support one another.
