Sustainability, having a story to tell and highlighting small gems are among this year’s luxury hotel trends.

With more than 1,400 of the world’s top luxury hotels, Virtuoso Hotels and Resorts’ ‘Best of the Best’ list highlights some of the world’s most prestigious properties.

It also exemplifies some of the latest luxury hotel trends for the year ahead: 2020 is set to be the year of leading on environmental sustainability, breathing new life into historic buildings and showcasing intimate, small-scale properties, according to Virtuoso.
