Travel Partners celebrates record number of new agents in October 2019

Travel Partners finished October 2019 on a record high, onboarding 20 new agents and securing a 30 per cent increase in year on year total transactional value (TTV).

Travel Partners’ mobile agent network has grown by 35 per cent this year alone, from 110 to 145 agents. The total Travel Partners network now has reached 255 Australia-wide, which includes the member agents.

Mont Blanc famil highs with Exodus Travels

11 lucky agents from Australia and New Zealand recently had the opportunity to explore the beautiful Mont Blanc region across Italy, Switzerland & France with Exodus Travels. Personal TravelManagers strike gold on exclusive India famil

The Golden Triangle is the moniker given to the region marked by three of India’s northern cities: Agra, Jaipur and the nation’s capital, Delhi. TravelManagers recently provided eleven personal travel managers (PTMs) with the opportunity to join a seven-day famil of this 720-kilometre circuit, which is renowned for its collection of incredible palaces, forts, mosques and mausoleums, as well as its vibrant history and culture. For many, it was their first visit to India, and an invaluable chance to experience it first-hand.

Jones & Co in conjunction with Iceland Travel hosts an educational

This lucky group of travel agents have recently returned from an educational hosted by Jones & Co in conjunction with their DMC partner Iceland Travel.

The group spent over a week exploring the wonders of Iceland including a special visit to Akureyri in the North, where fresh snow had fallen for their arrival.

From riding Icelandic horses, learning to bake bread from the heat of a volcano, experiencing the local geothermal baths to an abundance of northern lights sightings. Iceland Travel showcased what the destination had to offer and the services they provide on the ground.

Travel Counsellors celebrate 25 years in Manchester

Managing director Kaylene Shuttlewood, along with 20 Travel Counsellors and members of the Melbourne support team, joined more than 2,000 Travel Counsellors, business leaders, support team members and supplier partners from around the world at the annual global conference in Manchester.

This year’s global conference theme – 25 years of Moments that Matter – celebrated the Travel Counsellors’ Silver Anniversary. By day the sessions were filled with speakers from across the business and high profile guests including wildlife filmmaker Dr Chadden Hunter, boxing champion Nicola Adams, coffee entrepreneur Sahar Hashimi and adventure man Bear Grylls. Delegates also heard from various supplier partners on relevant topics including Sustainable Travel, Social Selling, Premium Travel and Entrepreneurship. The PowWow is always an important part of the conference weekend and in Manchester, more than 250 supplier partners took part giving Travel Counsellors the opportunity to discover new product and meet with supplier partners face-to-face.
