Personal Travel Managers Experience ‘Vegas of the East’
The island of Macau, or as it is more formally known, Macao Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China, is located around 60 kilometres west of Hong Kong. The two are connected by the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge – 55 kilometres of bridges and tunnels that combine to form the world’s longest sea-crossing. Crossing this engineering marvel, which opened early in 2018 and cost an estimated US$18.8 billion to construct, provided eight personal travel managers (PTMs) with an exciting and unique introduction to this tiny territory.
The PTMs were in Macau on a TravelManagers’ exclusive famil and spent five days exploring the sights in the so-called “Vegas of the East”, discovering in the process that it has a lot more to offer alongside the glittering casinos for which it is most famous.
Globus family of brands reveals its 2020 Supertour destinations
Globus family of brands (GFOB) announced the destinations for its highly-anticipated 2020 annual Supertour – 30 Australian and New Zealand agents will experience the breathtaking sights of South America’s crown jewels; Brazil and Argentina.
Supertour is crafted specifically to reward leading agents for their loyalty to the company with the 20-top selling GFOB travel agents from Australia and top 10 from New Zealand being offered a place on the tour, departing May 2020.
While itinerary inclusions remain under wraps, GFOB is excited to reveal agents will experience firsthand the famed golden beaches and samba-fuelled nightlife of Brazil’s Rio de Janeiro, as well as discover Argentina’s seductive capital Buenos Aires. Though a trip to South America isn’t complete without a visit to one of the planet’s most awe-inspiring natural sights, Iguazú Falls, located on the Argentinian/Brazilian border.
Agents are still in with a chance to score themselves a spot on this epic tour – they can earn their place on the 2020 trip by selling as many Globus family of brands’ products including Globus, Cosmos, Avalon Waterways or Monograms between 1 March 2019 – 29 February 2020.
The winning agents will be notified in March 2020.
