For a cultural, culinary and spiritual journey with a luxury travel expert, Abercrombie & Kent’s (A&K) new Essential India itinerary is a streamlined, private experience of the country’s famed Golden Triangle.

Developed in conjunction with Taj Hotels, the new tour provides an opportunity for travellers on a tighter time frame to experience some of India’s most iconic cities, A&K’s product manager for India and Latin America, Brett Lemish, explained.

“Exploring the wonders of Delhi, the bustling lanes of Agra and the handmade treasures of Jaipur, it’s an adventure that immerses travellers in the lively culture India is known for,” he said.

India, Varanasi

In Delhi, travellers will be able to discover the city’s secrets on foot and by cycle rickshaw, explore Humayun’s Tomb and gardens, enjoy traditional street food and stroll through Asia’s largest spice market.

In Agra, A&K guests have the privilege of exploring the Taj Mahal both at sunrise and sunset, seeing the monument in all its splendour, before and after the crowds, with time to admire its smaller predecessor, the magnificent Baby Taj.

In Jaipur, guests enjoy a dazzling immersion into the riches of traditional Indian handicrafts, meet a local family to experience traditional Indian hospitality and visit a local A&K supported philanthropy project.

For travellers with extra time there are also optional extensions to Ranthambore National Park, where your clients will get the chance to see Bengal tigers, the lake city of Udaipur and spiritual Varanasi.

A&K’s seven-day Essential India private journey is priced from $2,220 per person twin share for travel between 1 October 2019 and 20 December 2020.

The tour includes luxury accommodation in Taj hotels, breakfast daily, extensive private touring with A&K’s expert local guides and A&K’s legendary round-the-clock support.
