Agent wrap: Win a trip to Hong Kong, Sell Your Way to the USA, Tourism Canada famil + more!

Hong kong from the Victoria peak

We’ve knocked the stuffing out of this week’s agent wrap and made it short, sharp and shiny – a little like the espresso martini we finished in five seconds flat at morning tea.

American Airlines’ Sell Your Way to the USA famil: 15 spots left!

American Airlines and five USA destinations have partnered to create the ‘Sell Your Way to the USA’ incentive, offering the highest-selling agents the chance to be on one of five exclusive famil experiences, with six weeks left for agents to sell their way to the USA.

From the wonders of Oregon to experiencing The Real DC, awe expiring Alaska to quintessential New England or creating your own story to tell in Nevada, the regional tourism partners will pull out all the stops for the winners.

There are currently 195 Australian and 102 New Zealand agents registered and participating in the incentive, with 15 spots being awarded across the five famil programs. Three agents will head to each destination, with famils taking place in August, September and October of 2019.

Agents that are not yet registered can email their details to Lara Kamionka at lara@canuckiwi.com. Agents can also retroactively track their sales prior to the start date of the campaign.

Points are allocated for all return flights ticketed to North America with American Airlines, as well as any land content to the five partners: Oregon, Nevada, New England, Anchorage or Washington, DC. Extra points are given for tickets that include Las Vegas, Portland, Boston, Anchorage and Washington, DC.

TravelManagers return from Tourism Canada famil

When the Vancouver leg of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series took place in March, 12 travel advisors from the UK, New Zealand and Australia were on hand to experience the destination and the tournament for themselves.

Among the group of Rugby Sevens specialist advisors was TravelManagers’ Kristie Peters (pictured right).

The week-long famil was hosted by Adam Hanmer from Tourism Canada’s UK office.

Peters, who is TravelManagers’ representative for Glenroy, VIC, was one of three participants from Australia, who flew across the Tasman to join three more from New Zealand for a direct flight to Vancouver, where they met up with the rest of the group.
