ATTN AGENTS: Last chance to score a spot on Insight Vacations Croatia famil

Don’t panic, but you’ve only got until the end of next week to be in with a chance to win a spot on Insight Vacations Croatia famil!

The 8-day global famil will see agents follow the brand’s Dalmation Elegance itinerary, including 7-nights accommodation onboard a deluxe cruise ship, a farm-to-table feast of Croatian delicacies with locals in the Pelješac peninsula as well as visiting a local winery, and opportunities to meet  likeminded consultants from across the globe as they discover the Insight difference while exploring the gems of Croatia.

The winners will have the chance to learn about the coastline’s cities with a Local Expert as they walk through the pebble-stone streets of Split, Korčula and Hvar.

To qualify, agents must sell any Insight Vacations or Luxury Gold 2019 trip that visits Croatia by 15 February 2019. One booking qualifies for one entry into the random draw, the more bookings means the more chances of winning a spot!

When exploring the Croatian coastline, there is no better option for comfort and style than exploring it on Insight Vacations 9-day Dalmatian Elegance itinerary. Whilst happily perched aboard a modern, spacious mega yacht guests will discover new ports each day, hidden coves and ancient sites steeped in history.

Split

This premium island-hopping experience through paradise on earth begins in Split, the gateway to the Balkans. Ever since antiquity, Spilt has been synonymous with the Roman emperor Diocletian, whose palace attracts visitors from around the world.

Maybe you will choose to wander through its peristyle gardens, gaze at the Parthenon-esque vestibule or head to the East Wing, where many episodes of the television series Game of Thrones have been filmed and absorb a world of Adriatic luxury in your free time before you board the luxurious mega yacht.

Korcula

Enjoy views of sun dappled islands as your floating hotel cruises along past picturesque Adriatic coastlines on your way to Korcula – where the locals claim the famous merchant, explorer and writer Marco Polo was born.

You can make up your own mind on this as you explore the herringbone maze of streets, flagstone plazas and honey coloured fortifications of this island paradise with an Insight’s expert local guide before retiring to one of Korcula’s many appealing restaurants and bars to indulge your taste buds after a long days’ worth of indulging your mind.

Dubrovnik

No mention of Croatia would be complete without a mention of Game of Thrones. ‘King’s Landing’ – also known outside of the George R.R. Martin universe as Dubrovnik, is another unmissable spot on within the Balkan Islands.

Enjoy a guided walking tour of the old town that takes you past Onofrio’s Fountain, where 16 ornamental masks gush fresh water from a well 10 miles away, and the Rector’s Palace, which despite the passage of time and its conversion into the Cultural History Museum, has retained its 15th century plan and charm.

From there choose to explore at your own place through the markets or stroll with new friends along the ancient ramparts, but for the best vantage point we suggest taking the cable car up Srđ Mountain for scenic views over the famous fortifications and Elaphiti Islands.

Hvar

The island of sunshine, lavender, sage and wine. Follow the gorgeous white stones, laid down by the Venetians to the town’s magnificent main square which is considered one of the country’s most beautiful.

Lined with chic cafes, it unfurls onto the yacht-filled harbour, with the photogenic Renaissance cathedral forming a stunning backdrop. Spend time exploring the secluded beaches and tiny seafood restaurants or visit the crowning fortress for superb views over the town and island-studded bay.

Brac

Enjoy the see-side resort town of Bol, the oldest town on the island of Brač and home to one of Croatia’s most famous seaside resorts.

Walk along the promenade and swim at the picture-perfect Zlatni Rat, or Golden Cape – a shifting triangle of sandy beaches, protruding into the cobalt waters of the Adriatic. Today guests will relax for lunch at a local winery, savoring some delectable appetisers, paired with a sample of the revered wines of the island.
