Airline Review: Singapore Airlines Business Class – A380-800
Join me on my personal review of the iconic Singapore Airlines’ A380-800 business class cabin.
Singapore Airlines is renowned for its luxurious and spacious seating in any class, it’s sleek and fine interior reflects a sophisticated yet relaxed charm, promising instant luxury the minute you board. The configuration in business class is 1, 2, 1 giving the solo travellers complete privacy and opulence for extreme comfort and provides couples the luxury of transforming the two middle seats into their very own private king bed in the skies.
Overview
Each seat is equipped with a personal entertainment 18” screen offering a wide selection of movies, TV shows, music, and games to keep passengers entertained throughout the journey. Expect plush bedding, mouth-watering food and drink options, and attentive cabin crew catering to every need including making and setting up your bed for a great night’s rest.
Food and beverage
Singapore Airlines is known for its exceptional in-flight dining experience, and the Business Class offering on the Sydney to Delhi route is no exception. Passengers can expect a curated menu featuring a variety of gourmet dishes, inspired by both international and local cuisines. The satay chicken entrée is an absolute must try and is one of their signature dishes onboard. The airline’s renowned ‘Book the Cook’ service allows passengers to pre-select their meals from an extensive menu of signature dishes created by celebrated chefs. Don’t forget the selection of fine wines, champagne, and other beverages are available to complement the dining experience.
Service and quality
Service excellence is a hallmark of Singapore Airlines from start to finish. Impeccable service is guaranteed throughout the check in process and continues onboard the to the flight. The cabin crew is known for their professionalism, attentiveness, and dedication to ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of passengers. From personalised greetings and gifts to tailoring your very own drink. Singapore Airlines’ service sets a high standard for the industry.
Transit experience in Singapore
Crowned as the Best Airport in the world by Skytrax 2023, Singapore’s Changi Airport promises a seamless passenger experience. Although I have travelled through Singapore multiple times, I may admit this airport never ceases to amaze me. An airport playground to explore gardens, attractions, and entertainment options, indulge in duty-free shopping, or relax in one of the many lounges available throughout all the terminals. With efficient transit processes and excellent connectivity, Changi Airport makes transiting between flights a hassle-free experience with their easy Skytrain which takes an average 4 minutes to connect between terminals.
Singapore Business Class lounge
Whether you’re embarking on a business trip or a leisure getaway, a visit to this lounge and ordering their iconic Laksa is an absolute must! This lounge sets the standard for luxury airport lounges worldwide. With its elegant ambiance, extensive amenities, exceptional dining options, and impeccable service, it is critical visit for a seamless and indulgent travel experience. Whether you are wanting to relax in a quite nook with a good book or order a Singapore sling cocktail at the bar. The options are endless for any type of traveller seeking to unwind in their very own way.
Overall experience
Flying Business Class with Singapore Airlines from Sydney to Delhi on the A380-800 is an indulgent and luxurious experience from start to finish. It is truly a world class journey. The spacious seats, the exceptional service, food and wine. Whether traveling for business or leisure, Singapore Airlines’ Business Class delivers a premium travel experience that is second to none.
