Five reasons you need to be on the Hawaii Mega Famil
Guess what? You could win a spot on a massive Hawaii famil – and it’s super easy to enter!
Imagine flying over stunning scenery in a helicopter, sipping sunset cocktails, hiking hidden waterfalls or ziplining through valleys in Hawai‘i. These islands are some of the most diverse in the world, and we think it’s about time you experienced them for yourselves.
Well, Hawai‘i Tourism and Hawaiian Airlines do anyway, because they’re teaming up to give you a chance to experience the best Hawai’i has to offer on the ultimate famil.
There will be four incredible itineraries to choose from that will visit O‘ahu, Maui, Kaua‘i or Island of Hawai‘i for three nights before concluding in beautiful Waikiki – for some beachside R&R and maybe a quick shopping trip or five.
The famil includes international flights and flights between the islands on Hawaiian Airlines, four nights of luxe accommodation and
And the best bit is that it’s super easy to qualify for!
To qualify for the famil follow these simple steps:
- Login to agents.gohawaii.com (or create a new account if you don’t have an existing one)
- Complete the Hawaii e-learning module: “An Introduction to Hawaii”
- Sell at least four Hawaiian Airlines International return tickets to Hawaii ex Australia between 23 July – 30th September
- Fill in the online form here to register your details and bookings.
And while you wait for your golden ticket, here are five reasons you should start getting excited about this amazing famil.
VIP experiences
The famil includes an itinerary of experiences created by Hawai‘i Tourism Oceania (so you know they’re gonna be insane) . This could be anything from laying on a beach to taking adventure to a whole new level.
Think a helicopter adventure over Kauai – 80 per cent of which is inaccessible by land – or swimming with incredible manta rays under the moonlight. You can also zipleline over towering waterfalls and rainforests on the island of Hawaii. Which sounds pretty damn amazing to us.
You can also drive along the legendary Road to Hana, a coastline drive fraught with narrow one-lane bridges, hairpin turns and incredible island views, or explore Oahu’s energising nightlife and check out everything there is to offer beyond Waikiki.
Fly Hawaiian Airlines
You’re flying Hawaiian Airlines, so everything’s included! That includes meals, entertainment and beverages including our faves Maui Brewing Co. Bikini Blonde and organic Ocean vodka. Organic vodka? Sign us up.
And let’s face it, we know you’re all thinking about the amount of shopping you can do when you’re in Hawaii. The good news is that Hawaiian Airlines have a checked baggage allowance of two 32kg bags! Yep. Not one, but two.
Stay at the best resorts
It wouldn’t be an amazing famil without amazing accommodation, would it? And lucky for you, Hawaii offers diverse, stunning accommodation for every kind of traveller – from the energizing Waikiki beach to the quaint areas of Kauai.
This mega-famil itinerary is also designed so you can stay in the key resort areas of the islands. Did someone say five-star? In our minds, we’re already poolside with a cocktail.
Sample the best food around
Speaking of cocktails, Hawaii has some of the best in the world! But more importantly, Hawaii is also home to Hawaii Regional Cuisine, a culinary movement established by 12 award-winning chefs way back in 1991.
Hawaii Regional Cuisine takes advantage of the freshest island ingredients: cattle raised on the upland pastures of Hawaii Island, fruits and vegetables grown from rich, volcanic soil in Upcountry Maui, and some of the best quality fish in the world, to name a few, and blends Hawaii’s diverse, ethnic flavours with the cuisine of the world.
You’ll find it all over Hawaii, in world-renowned restaurants, from Waikiki to Waimea. Drool.
