TIME reveals its annual list of Worlds Greatest Places

TIME magazine has unveiled its annual list of the World’s Greatest Places to fuel your wildest travel fantasies.

To assemble the list, TIME collected nominations across a variety of categories (ranging from museums to parks, bars and theme parks) from their editors and correspondents around the world.

The nominations were then evaluated based on key factors such as quality, originality, innovation, sustainability and influence.

They wound up with a list of 100 entries from six continents and 48 countries, covering everything from Texan water parks to Chinese libraries.
