Intrepid Travel named Best Tour Operator – International at NTIA Awards

Intrepid Travel is thrilled to have been named Best Tour Operator – International at the NTIA Awards on Saturday night.

“Intrepid has been at the forefront of creating responsible, sustainable and meaningful small group experiences for travellers and this award shows that sustainable travel is no longer viewed as a niche product.”

This is the first time the Melbourne-based adventure travel company has won the Best Tour Operator – International at the NTIA awards.

Royal Caribbean sweeps NTIA’s for third year running

For the third year running, Royal Caribbean International has won the two top awards for the cruising category at the AFTA National Travel Industry Awards 2018. The line was awarded Best Cruise Operator, International; and Best Cruise Operator, Domestic at the annual ceremony on Saturday night.

Since 2005, Royal Caribbean has received the Best Cruise Operator award nine times. Today, its fleet comprises 25 of the world’s newest, largest and most incredible, including three local favourites – Radiance of the Seas, Explorer of the Seas and Ovation of the Seas, returning to Australia for the summer season in October 2018.

APT Wins Two National Travel Industry Awards

Leading luxury tour and cruise operator APT are celebrating after receiving two of the travel industry’s most prestigious honours at Saturday night’s 2018 NTIA.

APT won Best Domestic Tour Operator and Best River Cruise Operator.

After receiving three finalist positions, APT were awarded Best River Cruise Operator for the fourth year in a row, as voted by Australia’s Travel Agents and Best Domestic Tour Operator, awarded by the AFTA judging panel.

Commenting on what has been another outstanding achievement for the Australian owned global travel operator, APT CEO Steve Reynolds said:

“Once again we are honoured to win Best Domestic Tour Operator and Best River Cruise Operator, it is a true testament to our dedicated teams here in Australia, overseas and on the road.
