Luckily, wellness resorts are having a big moment right now, which means there is more on offer than ever before.

With this in mind, we’d like to introduce you to Bali’s newest and hottest wellness resort, REVĪVŌ.

Nestled on three hectares of teak-tree forest, surrounded by dense tropical rainforest in Nusa Dua, the respot offers 16 luxury Balinese-style suites comprised of eight garden suites, six courtyard suites and two private pool suites.

There are also two 4-bedroom villas, with each offering four suites with spacious en-suite bathrooms, a large open-air dining pavilion, and a private 25-metre swimming pool.

REVĪVŌ aims to “soothe the spirit, rejuvenate the body and enrich the mind, through a holistic health journey made up of relaxation activities, spa and holistic medicine treatments, as well as a personal food diet based on each guests’ DNA and nutritional needs,” the resort said in a release.

Travellers can choose from a regular schedule of 3-day immersive programs to choose from depending on individual goals such as detox and organic weight loss, emotional balance and mind training, and anti-ageing and longevity. There is also a specific program for mums-to-be.

Each retreat program can be tailor-made to suit individual needs by applying REVĪVŌ ‘s three key wellness pillars: NŪTRIŌ, the nutrition component, MISSIŌ, the holistic spa treatments and MOVEŌ, the fitness routines.

NŪTRIŌ, the resort’s food and beverage program begins with an expert nutritionist and chef creating a tailored eating plan for each guest, aligned with their body’s needs and goals. The focus is on organic, high-protein dishes that are low carb, gluten-free and have a balanced amount of healthy fats. Traditional fasting items like juices, elixirs, vitamin boosts and organic teas can all be included in the nutrition program.

The resort’s fitness experience, MOVEŌ, is entirely adaptable to support each guests’ unique fitness and wellness goals.

REVĪVŌ ‘s fitness facilities are spread out on 8,000 square metres of verdant and peaceful land, and includes: a yoga barn, an aerial yoga outdoor space, a meditation room, a pilates studio, a fitness room with TRX, boxing and kinesis equipment, a 50-metre lap pool for aqua workouts, jacuzzis, sauna and hammam. Additionally, there is a 1500-square metre landscaped park for outdoor exercises.

The MOVEŌ fitness offering focuses on hybrid workouts, with as much emphasis placed on inspiration as perspiration. There is a balance between the more intensive heart-pumping HIIT sessions and softer restorative practices like Qi Gong, to simultaneously cultivate physical, mental and spiritual well-being.

The final piece in the REVĪVŌ wellness concept is the holistic spa component, REMISSIŌ. These treatments bring together authentic Balinese healing traditions, as well as aroma, hydro and chromo therapies to nurture the body and achieve overall well-being.

The spa stays true to the age-old tradition of using elements from the surrounding environments to heal, and each treatment is customised by highly-skilled therapists using herb-infused oils, aromas and massage techniques.

The resort’s impressive spa facilities include five spacious double treatment rooms, each with an outdoor bath. REMISSIŌ also boasts two hydro jet Vichy shower beds, hot and chill plunge pools, a jacuzzi, infrared saunas, steam rooms, an aromatic garden and a saltwater floating pool set amidst tropical greenery.

REVĪVŌ Bali is the first location to open for this new wellness resort brand, and it will be soon followed by REVĪVŌ Fiac in France, which will open its doors this month.
