Time for an island getaway: Hawaiian flights to increase!

Good news if you’ve got clients who are looking for a Hawaiian getaway.

Hawaiian Airlines will increase its non-stop service between Brisbane and Honolulu’s Daniel K. Inouye International Airport to four weekly flights starting December this year.

The airline said the increased frequency is in response to high demand from Brisbane travellers wanting to enjoy a trip to Hawaii over the Christmas and New Year holiday break.

Under Hawaiian’s expanded summer schedule, flights will depart Brisbane at 10.30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, arriving in Honolulu at 11.45am on the same day and offering travellers ample time to settle into their accommodation, explore O‘ahu, or connect on a flight to a Neighbour Island or one of Hawaiian’s 12 gateway cities in North America.

Flights from Honolulu to Brisbane will depart at 2.30pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, arriving at 8.30pm the following day.

Hawaiian, the only carrier to offer non-stop service between Brisbane and Honolulu, launched a three-times-weekly service between the two cities on 28 November 2012.

The airline’s Airbus A330 aircraft offer guests three in-flight experiences, including Business Class with full-flat seating, Extra Comfort premium economy and a Main Cabin.

Travellers can also enjoy the airline’s award-winning Hawaiian hospitality and all fares include Hawaiian inspired meals and beverages, on-demand in-flight entertainment and a generous 64kg free checked baggage allowance (2 x bags at 32kg per piece).

Which is a good excuse to fill the second suitcase with all the fabulous shopping Hawaii has to offer. If it’s included in the flight you’re technically paying for it anyway so it would be rude not to.

For just AUD$165 per person per sector, travellers can also treat themselves to Hawaiian Airlines’ Extra Comfort Economy Seats and enjoy five or more extra inches of legroom, priority boarding, personal electronic power outlet and amenity kit.
