A&K’s new Flight Desk
Luxury travel company Abercrombie & Kent (A&K) has opened up its new dedicated Flight Desk to provide competitive airfares and flight bookings to agents for their clients travelling on A&K journeys ensuring a comprehensive and seamless booking process from beginning to end.
Pioneering the new role is Sam Puccio, a vastly experienced and passionate Flight Specialist.
Of the new service, Puccio said that, “At A&K, we arrange complex holidays to so many amazing destinations. By integrating the best flights and fares matched to our vast portfolio of destinations and packages, we are giving agents that additional level of comfort and assurance that they, and their guests, are being looked after for the entire journey. This additional level of service is what the industry has come to expect from A&K.”
A&K’s Flight Desk is accessible through all the usual A&K channels.
Destination NSW Appoints New GM Marketing
Destination NSW CEO Sandra Chipchase announced today that Jan Hutton will be joining the Destination NSW team as General Manager Marketing.
Hutton said she was delighted to be joining the number one destination marketing and events organisation in Australia.
Destination NSW are the market leaders. They have delivered exceptional results through innovation in destination marketing and changing the positioning of NSW as the premier new events destination in the nation.
Finnair CEO Pekka Vauramo leaving the company to join Metso Corporation
Finnair’s CEO, Pekka Vauramo, has given notice of his resignation from the company to join Metso Corporation as new CEO.
He will leave Finnair at the latest in November 2018. The search for Vauramo’s successor has commenced.
“We have been through a lot at Finnair over the past five years,” said Pekka Vauramo.
“Our strategic focus on growth, customer experience, personnel experience and transformation has been the right choice, and I want to extend my warm thanks to the entire Finnair team for this. I have now been offered to take on one more challenge, and this has not been an easy decision for me to make. I am grateful for having been a part of this change journey, and I am committed to leading Finnair together with my team for the rest of my time at Finnair. Our company’s focus needs to be on the future development of the company every day.”
