Held atop the DaVita headquarters with a view of the Rocky Mountains, the prestigious event saw the U.S. Travel Association and Brand USA honour representatives from the world’s highest-volume tour operators and buyers of U.S. travel, and recognise their outstanding efforts in bringing the world to America.

“IPW’s goal is to bring the world to America, and this year’s Chairman’s Circle honourees do all that they can to make that vision a reality,” said U.S. Travel Association President and CEO Roger Dow.

“The honourees do tremendous work to ensure that travellers all around the world know that the U.S. is a great place to visit, and they have my deepest gratitude for their contributions to the U.S. travel industry.”

This year was the association’s 50th annual IPW and was emceed by travel expert and host of “Places to Love” Samantha Brown.

The special night featured entertainment from Colorado musicians Jonathan Barlow and Roger Harmon of the group Tin Brother, and a showstopping performance from Face Vocal Band.

Vanessa Richards, Excite Holidays’ Head of Marketing and Todd Basham, Head of Global Product Contracting were both in attendance and accepted the award on behalf of the travel wholesaler.

Honorees were nominated by the U.S. Travel Association’s Chairman’s Circle-level members, including top U.S. travel businesses and destinations.

Brand USA President and CEO Chris Thompson said, “We value the partnership we have with each of tonight’s honorees and appreciate all they do to promote the USA as a top travel destination.”
