Hawaii Tourism brings back A+ event for agents

Roll up, roll up, there’s a hot new event in town that agents will definitely want to get amongst.

Travel agents can now save the date for Australia and New Zealand’s biggest annual Hawai‘i Roadshow, Aloha Down Under, which will run from the 23rd – 31st of July.

Presented by Hawai‘i Tourism Oceania, the roadshow will visit Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Wellington and Auckland. Wowza – what a roadshow!

Travel Trade Executive for Hawai’i Tourism Oceania (HTO), Alicia Palmer, said that Hawai‘i’s overwhelming popularity with both the Aussie and Kiwi travellers makes the Aloha Down Under Roadshow an event not to be missed.

“The Oceania market makes up one in seven international visitors to the Hawaiian Islands, and with 65 per cent of bookings being made through a travel agent, Aloha Down Under is the perfect opportunity for agents to ensure they’re well versed on the destination.

“We saw a record number of agents attend the roadshow in 2017, with approximately 1000 agents present across Australia and New Zealand.

“We’re expecting even more interest in 2018 and are planning an additional show for Western Sydney to satisfy anticipated demand.”

The roadshow’s five day program also includes a dedicated B2B function and a media event.

AND – did we mention – attendees will have the opportunity to network with Hawai‘i suppliers, enjoy live Hawaiian entertainment, get all the latest destination updates from the Hawai‘i Tourism Oceania team and have multiple opportunities to win incredible Hawaiian holiday prizes.

“TELL US WHERE AND WHEN,” we can hear you all shouting. Ok, we won’t keep you in suspense.
