Virgin Australia bans woman for racist attack

????????????????????????????????????

Virgin Australia has issued a lifetime ban against a woman who was caught on camera hurling vitriolic insults at a Sydney family.

The woman was on board VA 181 flight to Nadi when she began shouting racist insults at a family sitting across from her, according to 9News, amid reports she’d been drinking vodka from her own hidden stash throughout the flight.

The woman was filmed slurring, “You’re a f*cking Muslim,” at the family across from her, as her distressed son tried to cover her mouth with his hands and shut her up.

“Now we’re a minority,” she claimed.

When Virgin staff intervened, she shouted, “Are you f*cking kidding me? I’ve done nothing wrong. I’m sitting here,” per 9News.

The woman then directed her insults at the passenger filming her attack.

“Keep recording. I’m going to knock her out,” she claimed.

“So you’re not worried about those that chop people’s heads off? Wow.

“But that’s okay, that’s okay,” she mocked.

The family copping the woman’s disturbing attack told 9News anonymously, “For her to sit there and accuse us of being Muslim terrorists and associating us with those people, who are just the minority that do those things, it was offensive to us”.

The woman was escorted off the plane by Fijian authorities, per 9News.

In a statement provided to Travel Weekly, a Virgin Australia spokesperson said, “Virgin Australia takes the safety of our guests and our crew very seriously.

“On board Virgin Australia flight VA 181 from Sydney to Nadi on 4 May 2017, a passenger acted in an inappropriate manner towards other passengers and our crew.

The matter is now in the hands of the Fijian authorities and out of respect for the privacy of our passengers and our crew, it would be inappropriate to provide any further details.”
