Who wants to win a dream holiday to L.A?
It’s the kind of thing agents dream about; a escape to an incredible city, flights, accommodation, tours and more. And now it’s literally just an arm’s length away.
We’ve partnered up with Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Discover Los Angeles to impart some agent-savvy knowledge AND reward whoever proves themselves as LAX experts.
Sounds easy enough, right?
Starting next week, Travel Weekly, LAX and Discover Los Angeles are running a fab, four-week training session with weekly prizes of fashionable American Tourister cabin luggage and a cumulative leaderboard to crown the grand final winner who will take home:
To remind you, the incredible prize includes:
- 1 x economy flight to LAX (from BNE, SYD or MEL)
- 3 x nights’ accommodation at the new Hyatt Regency Los Angeles International Airport LAX providing comfort and convenience at L.A’s closest airport hotel
- 1 x Starline Hop-On-Hop-Off Los Angeles City Tour bus ticket
- 1 x Go Los Angeles Card® with up to 30 included iconic attractions
- 1 x Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood admission ticket
- 1 x 12-month Qantas Club membership with access to their Los Angeles Business Lounge, where you can huddle around the communal fireplace and enjoy a Neil Perry designed menu with a Californian twist
Not bad, not bad at all.
So now the nitty gritty – how do you win? Each week, we’ll be sharing a training module covering four key areas: LAX Airlines; LAX Terminals; L.A. Stopovers; and the Future of LAX.
All you have to do is read the module. In fact, you’ll probably want to print, save or frame them too because they include informative and vital information. Once you’ve read them, answer 7 multiple choice questions on the module.
Your score is based on two criteria – how many questions you answer correctly in the quiz and how fast you answer them. So don’t dawdle once the clock starts!
At the end, whoever has answered the most correct questions in the fastest time will be crowned with the prize and all the glory that comes with it, including bragging rights and social media fame!
To be eligible for the grand prize, you must complete all four training quizzes.
Training module 1, which looks at airlines flying from Australia to LAX, will be released first thing Monday, and you can enter anytime throughout the week. Entries to each quiz will close on the Sunday night of the respective week, before the next module is released the following Monday.
So stay tuned, because come Monday morning this major competition officially launches, and you have every chance to win big with a little help and inside knowledge from LAX.
