New Avis app simplifies hiring a car

Avis Car Rental Australia launch their new mobile app, Avis Now, that will revolutionise the car hire industry.

The application features an innovative experience that puts travellers renting in Brisbane in complete control of their car hire experience from start to finish.

Travellers enrolled in Avis Preferred, the company’s express rental program, enjoy a streamlined car hire experience, with many traditional rental processes now being managed on the mobile app. It allows customers to choose, pay for and use Avis hire cars without having to liaise with anyone. It features a contactless payment system, and enables users to be directed to their car hire vehicle, unlock it and return it, all within the app.

Other highlights include the ability to set up and modify preferences, know when your car is ready and where to collect it from, view, confirm or modify details if needed, push notifications and so much more.

“We worked closely with our customers to design the new rental process around their needs and wishes, and the result is an app experience that is more convenient, quicker and more personalised,” Managing Director of Avis Australia, Kaye Ceille said.

Avis are pioneering  the rise in technology that maximises convenience and service, ensuring efficiency and ease for customers who want to hire a car in the most simplest way. The time-costly process of hiring cars at airports is now reduced to a quick click on the mobile app.

Avis Now will also be a big winner for workplaces, who are set to save thousands of dollars on staff productivity.

While the service has launched at Brisbane and Adelaide airport locations on Saturday, there are plans to roll this out nationwide in the coming month.
