CT Connections expands group in new merger

CT Connections has added leisure travel management firm Executive Edge Travel to its portfolio under the CTC Travel Group’s umbrella.

“We’re all looking forward to spreading our wings to create one of Australia’s largest independently owned travel companies with over 110 staff in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth,” CT Connections Director Gary Reichenberg said.

Executive Edge Travel co-founder Yvonne Verstandig said:“Both Executive Edge and CT Connections are family orientated, ‘values based’ businesses – a perfect match in that we are very clear in what we deliver to each and every stakeholder.”

According to CT Connections, clients are set to gain from the move by utilising more resources, shared cutting-edge technology, increased buying power and, ultimately, enhanced value to customers.

Executive Edge Travel www.executiveedge.com.au will continue to service the SME corporate market as well as cater for the discerning leisure client as it has successfully done for the past 16 years. The Executive Edge name and brand will remain.

CT Connections www.ctconnections.com.au is carving a big reputation in the travel industry with its strong national corporate presence. With the most advanced, cutting-edge technology and innovation setting it apart from the pack, CT Connections recently won the AFL and PGA Australia travel management accounts among other notable wins.

Totem Group www.totemgroup.com.au is the dedicated conference, groups and incentives division that complements the group in creating a full service leisure and corporate enterprise.

CT Connections Travel Group Director Gary Reichenberg said all three brands offered “best in class” service and the group now has the ability to leverage off each other on all facets of travel – bigger buying power over the combined brands which will deliver enhanced value and service for clients.

“It’s excellent news for both companies. For Executive Edge, it is instantly enhanced by the technology at CT Connections, which is leading edge, and there is access to thousands more corporate clients stepping up their ‘leisure’ and ‘luxury’ travel needs,” Reichenberg said.

“For CT Connections, we’re thrilled to team with such a highly reputable, trusted and respected leisure travel management specialist to cater for our corporate clients and have access to many and varied hotel memberships including world-class leaders in Virtuoso, Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental, and Peninsula among many more.”
