Industry to party like its 1999 for NTIA after party at …

One of Sydney’s hottest nightclub venues, The Watershed, Darling Harbour will be the scene of the after party for the industry’s night of nights, the 2016 National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA).

Until now, the Australian Federation of Travel Agents and After Party sponsor Singapore Airlines have remained tight lipped about the exclusive location for the 2016 NTIA After Party.

With the capacity to host all 1,272 Gala Dinner attendees and boasting 3 exclusive levels with city and Darling Harbour views, AFTA Chief Executive Jayson Westbury said that there isn’t a more perfect venue.

“The NTIA is the biggest celebration in the annual travel industry calendar and it is tradition to continue the celebrations into the early hours of the morning. Singapore Airlines have been the After Party Sponsor since 2010 and when we were planning for this year’s event wanted to make it bigger and even more remarkable for guests. What better than a 3 level, city facing venue, just a short walk from where the Gala Dinner will take place,” Westbury said.

Singapore Airlines’ Senior Manager Marketing & Alliances Australia, Dale Woodhouse added that Singapore Airlines is proud to once again be the exclusive sponsor of the NTIA After Party.

“The night provides us with the perfect opportunity to thank the industry for their continuing support. We look forward to celebrating the travel industry’s night of nights with our industry partners and friends,” Woodhouse said.

The Gala Dinner will be held on Saturday 16 July at Darling Harbour. Doors open at 5pm and guests will be reminded to put on their wrist bands, tear out their free drink voucher and make their way to the After Party celebrations from 10pm till late.

Singapore Airlines will illustrate to guests that their airline isn’t just a great way to fly, they know how to celebrate too.
