Midweek Interview with Stella Hritis, NSW/ACT Sales Manager, Trafalgar

Stella takes some time to talk awards buzz, challenging misconceptions and why she does her best to dodge negative people.

The challenge for the industry is… current world events

The things I like about my job… the people I get to meet and talk about the thing I love most – travel

And the frustrations are … the misconceptions that surround some really amazing destinations

If I didn’t work in travel I would be… working in childcare

Favourite airline? Qantas

My proudest moment was… winning AFTA’s Best Sales Executive award in 2015

The naughtiest thing I ever did was… What happens in Vegas..stays in Vegas..

I try to relax by… going to the beach

The last time I feared for my life was… on a flight from NYC to Las Vegas during a snow storm

If I can, I always try to avoid… negative people

I really wish I had… a holiday retreat by the beach

The best advice I’ve ever received was… treat people the way you expect to be treated

I dont understand why people… don’t use their annual leave

My greatest weakness is… not being able to switch off

And my greatest strength is… I always go the extra mile

If I won a $1 million lottery (aside from travelling), I would… give lots of money to a charity

If I was prime minister I would… build more shelters for the homeless

If I could be someone else for one day I would be… Richard Branson – would love to know what is going on inside his head

I’ve always wanted to travel to… Myanmar

My favourite holiday was… spending Christmas and New Year in NYC
