Mangan launches dream food and travel job

Top Australian chef Luke Mangan has launched the ultimate foodie dream job: to taste, travel and document his culinary adventures.

Mangan is on the hunt for a CEO, a Culinary Experience Officer, who will relish in mouth-watering food and wine experiences, train with Tourism Australia’s social media team and be mentored by the man himself.

The winner will have their tastebudes tickling from an array of meals found in Virgin Australia’s Business Class, on a Hamilton Island P&O Cruise and Mangan’s restaurants in Asia and the Maldives.

“This is truly an incredible opportunity for someone who wants to firmly make their position within the food and wine sphere,” Mangan said.

“Our promise is to ensure customers have access to the very best food and wine experiences – and this is precisely the opportunity we want to give our CEO.”

The Mojo restaurateur has short-listed three types of Australian foodies for application – the best bartender, the most creative undercover home cook and the finest artisan food producers.

From social media enthusiasts to sommeliers, photographers and home cooks all are invited to apply with the final three candidates to be assessed by Mangan and his team in September.

Those who think they have the recipe for success can submit their application from now until midnight April 15 at lukemangan.com/CEO.
