Pilot kicks off drunken bachelor party as groom gets punted too

The pilot of a Ryanair plane has made an unscheduled landing in Germany to eject members of a British bachelor party – including the groom.

German police say six men disturbed security on board the plane and ignored the crew’s instructions, prompting the pilot to land in Berlin late on Friday.

The flight out of London was en route to Bratislava in Slovakia.

Police said the drunken Englishmen aged 25 to 28 are facing fines of up to 25,000 euros ($A38,335) each as well as civil claims from the airline.

The other 164 passengers, including six members of the bachelor party who hadn’t taken part in the rowdy behaviour, were able to continue their flight.

    1. This sort of thing happens all the time on low cost carriers. It’s simply under-reported. The employment standards at LCCs like Ryanair, Vueling and Easyjet mean breaking the rules without punishment is not hard to do.
