BREAKING: Agents on tour run wild

BREAKING: Agents on tour run wild

It’s time to visit the wild wild west!

It might have been a trek for Travel Weekly’s journo to get from Monterey to Sedona, but boy was it worth it.

Farewelling friends on the Insight Vacations group, it was time to find out what Trafalgar has been up to. The crew arrived in sleepy Sedona for a taste of the Wild West, rattlesnake appetisers, New Age souvenirs and some friendly country folk.

The surrounds of Sedona are picturesque, with tall rocky mountains thousands of years old towering above the town, and it’s these views agents captured best when jumping on board a bunch of sassy pink jeeps and going for a drive.

As part of Trafalgar’s optional experience when on tours through the west, agents hopped on board with Pink Jeep Tours, driving well above the main street on rocky backroads to get the best photo opportunities and some impressive scenery.

Wrapping things up in Sedona, agents climbed back on the coach to head to Williams, winding through the thick forests and mountains to reach the flat plains at the top. And as if the weather knew we were coming, snow glistened on treetops and blanketed the small town on arrival.

That night gave agents a true travelling treat, with Trafalgar’s renowned Be My Guest experience giving agents the exclusive chance to dine with local residents, Dan and Linda Watts and Kathu Tanamachi, at their South Rim Wine & Beer Garage.

Located on historic Route 66, South Rim Wine & Beer Garage not only gave agents a wine and beer tasting of Arizona’s finest, but also spoiled them with a tasty three-course meal prepared by their hosts.

The couple were truly humbled to be a part of Trafalgar’s unique Be My Guest itinerary item, and shut the entire restaurant just for the agents, giving a special insight into their lives and their beautiful little town.

The next morning things got interesting, but for now we’re going to leave you hanging – Part Two of Trafalgar’s adventures are a-comin.

In the meantime be sure to follow our Instagram and Twitter accounts and see all the fantastic actions shots from the trip on our Facebook.
