AAT Kings proves just how adorable NZ can be

Move over Koala Sam, there’s a new cutie in town!

While on the TTC Great Escape, 100 agents were treated to a visit to the Rainbow Springs Nature Park in Rotorua, where they got to hang out with some of the cutest Kiwi birds on the block.

Stepping quietly into a darkened sanctuary, agents watched through glass windows as the gorgeous Kiwi birds ran around in a lively and playful manner, relishing in their bush surrounds.

Agents were told about Kiwi Sam, the totally awesome little toy sold by AAT Kings to friends and guests for $10, and how the little guy has joined Koala Sam toys back in Oz in helping to fund conservation projects.

For every Kiwi Sam purchased, a percentage of the proceeds go towards projects that assist with the protection of these iconic animals and ensuring their continued survival.

This project is helping to hatch and raise kiwi chicks with daily monitoring and regular health checks, as well as fund important research into kiwi incubation and rearing, something agents learned about in their whirlwind stopover in NZ as part of the TTC Great Escape.

Funds raised from “Koala Sam” continue to go towards the Koala Rehabilitation Project, an AAT Kings project in partnership with the Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors at its animal hospital in northern Queensland.

Donations support the treatment and rehabilitation of his furry friends at the centre, as well as the building of eco-friendly habitats to protect the sick and orphaned.
