“Overseeing these businesses is an exciting opportunity. Through its six corporate travel brands, FLT is Australia’s largest corporate travel manager,” Flannery said.

Together, the brands represent 30% of FLT’s total transaction value in Australia, making its domestic corporate business the agency group’s second largest operation globally behind its leisure arm.

“Andrew is a highly experienced leader, with a strong understanding of the business and of the value propositions each brand offers its customers,” FLT managing director, Graham Turner said.

“He has played a role in helping to set the corporate business’s strategy and monitoring its performance in recent years in his capacity as a member of our global senior management team or Task Force.”

Flannery will transition into the role during the course of the first half, following a replacement CFO appointment, which FLT said they expect to promote his successor from within its ranks.

FCm last month won Best National Travel Management Company at the AFTA NTIA Awards.

In his new role, Flannery will report to FLT chief operating officer, Melanie Waters-Ryan.
