TravelManagers up all night to get lucky

Outrigger Hotels & Resorts recently hosted travel agents at a roadshow presentation at Melbourne’s “Rivers Edge” event centre.

For those who attended, it was an opportunity to update their product knowledge and enjoy a chance to catch up with travel industry colleagues.

But for three lucky personal travel managers, the event was made even more worthwhile when they each won four nights’ accommodation at the Outrigger hotel or resort of their choice.

Victoria’s Karen Evert (representative for Strathmore), Mark Elevato (representative for Werribee) and Natalie Gutauskas (representative for South Ballarat) were the recipients of the randomly-drawn spot prizes, and are now planning how to redeem their prizes (pictured L-R).

“It was a fabulous night and a great chance to get updated on the current and upcoming new hotels,” Gutauskas said.  “To win such a great prize was definitely an unexpected bonus.”

TravelManagers’ Michael Gazal says the company encourages its PTMs to attend supplier roadshows and presentations to ensure that their product knowledge is as up-to-date as possible.

“Our PTMs work hard and lead busy lives so their time is precious,” he said.

“Attending supplier events like these roadshows is key to providing great service to their clients, but it’s always nice when there’s a cherry on the top like this.”
