Travel Counsellors win with corporate

Travel Counsellors has recently seen a strong rise in Corporate Travel bookings, with sales down under up 36%.

Recording the stats for year-on-year for the first quarter of 2015, Travel Counsellors is looking good, with Australian GM Tracy Parkinson saying they’ve hit the nail on the head with corporate travel.

“We have identified that the Corporate Travel sector represents huge growth potential for our Travel Counsellors, due to the fact that our highly experienced network of agents offer a superior level of service well suited to corporate and group bookings,” she said.

“Organisations are recognising the value in the level of the bespoke service and expertise we provide, compared to booking travel online.”

“These impressive first quarter sales figures are a good reflection of the interest that Travel Counsellors is currently receiving from the Corporate Travel sector – a trend we expect to continue throughout the year and well into the future.”

With a focus on delivering a high-quality, personalised travel booking service, the company’s agents are benefitting from the demand for travel professionals in the corporate sector, from accommodation and flights to car hire.

“This Corporate Travel growth follows the successful launch of the company’s new sub-brand ‘Travel Counsellors for Business’ and a new-look corporate website earlier this year,” Parkinson added.

“These new developments mark a continued investment in the company’s Corporate Travel strategy, with this division now accounting for half of the growth of the business over the past 4 years.”

And Frankston-based TC Tara Morgan agrees, with corporate clients making up a big piece of her client pie.

“I’ve noticed that corporate clients love that they can call me to amend their booking, or book large groups with ease – something that isn’t easily navigable when booking travel online by yourself,” Morgan said.

“It’s the small details like providing printed documentation and being available to amend bookings outside of standard business hours which are added bonuses that corporate clients really appreciate when booking with me.”
