Midweek Interview with Jessi Greer

Midweek Interview with Jessi Greer

We chat with Topdeck’s business development manager, Western Victoria.

The challenge for the industry is…   for retail agents to continue to evolve and be competitive against online business.  I still believe there’s nothing better than face to face advice and interaction.

The things I like about my job…   Promoting a product that I am passionate about and believe in.  Meeting new people each and every day and sharing travel experiences and knowledge.

And the frustrations are …  the day passing by too quickly

If I didn’t work in travel I would be…  travelling

Virgin or Qantas? both

My proudest moment was…  becoming an aunty

The naughtiest thing I ever did was…  next……

I try to relax by… heading to the beach for a walk

The last time I feared for my life was…  travelling on a bus on the Isle of Capri – the turns in the road were so narrow  I thought we were going to fall into the ocean below.

If I can, I always try to avoid…  waiting in queues. I am far too impatient.

I really wish I had…  learnt to snowboard/ski when I was younger.  Trying to learn now into my 30’s doesn’t seem to be working out very well.

The best advice I’ve ever received was…  “big ears, little mouth”

I don’t understand why people… don’t travel

My greatest weakness is… my addiction to salt

And my greatest strength is… determination

If I was prime minister I would… be dreaming – or having a nightmare?

If I won $1 million on the lottery I would… travel with family and close friends

If I could be someone else for one day I would be … the Queen

I’ve always wanted to travel to…  Brazil

My favourite holiday was…  places with beaches and good food– Greek Islands, Croatia, Amalfi Coast and San Diego.

    1. ….i think they should modify that question -if i won the lottery…it should be -aside from travelling, if i won the lottery i would-… because the answer ‘travelling’ is so repetitive and predictable/agents would always say that/… it has become so boring…
