Vanuatu Tourism Office (VTO) has launched a consumer facing website, detailing current travel packages and deals, as well as helpful destination tips.

Created with Australians in mind, the site www.discovervanuatu.com.au highlights top travel experiences available across Vanuatu’s 83 islands including options for the adventure traveller, family holiday, couples and those looking for culture or cuisine.

The site also includes inspirational sample itineraries and advice on how to access Vanuatu and its outer islands, such as Tanna, Espiritu Santo and Malekula.

Noting the new site’s vibrant design and concise, clear travel information, VTO’s Australian representative Anne Morris said visitors to the site will be impressed.

“In particular we have some great advice from Channel Nine’s TODAY Show popular weather man Steve Jacobs, who makes no secret of the fact that Vanuatu is his favourite holiday destination,” Morris added.

Updated regularly with news and events, such as the Pentecost Land Diving festival, the site offers consumers value for money packages from Australian wholesalers such as Hoot Holidays, Coral Seas, Infinity Holidays and Adventure World.

Visit the site now for the chance to win a seven night trip to Vanuatu for two people, by simply stating in 25 words or less why you want to win.

The prize includes travel with Air Vanuatu from Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane to Port Vila, two nights at Warwick Le Lagon Resort and two nights at The Terraces Boutique Apartments. Air Vanuatu will also cover provide flights to Espiritu Santo, for a three night stay at the beautiful Moyyan House by the Sea.

The competition is open to Australian residents only and closes on 31 January, 2015.
