HomeAway, Inc has announced Dan Lynn will serve as vice president of Asia-Pacific (APAC) and lead the HomeAway team.

Lynn will oversee the online operations of Stayz, HomeAway, Bookabach and Travelmob.

Brady Hotels in Melbourne has officially opened to guests this week expecting a strong occupancy in October.

Brady has also launched a new bar and restaurant called Little Charley, inspired by Charles La Trobe, the first lieutenant-governor of Victoria and namesake of La Trobe Street.

Travel Indochina has celebrated the launch of its latest small group journey brochure by offering travel agents a ‘Join us in Asia’ incentive, which gives agents the chance to win a five-night stay in Saigon.

To enter, agents need to book and deposit a small group journey with Travel Indochina by October 31, with two eligible agents to win spots on an additional mini trip each week.

The incentive complements the operator’s second person flies free deal that is being offered for tickets booked in October for travel between October 16 and December 7 and from January 16 2015.

UTracks, European walking and cycling holiday operator, has released an Early Bird 2015 deal to coincide with the release of its new Active Europe 2015 brochure.

Travellers booking before October 31 will save 10% per person on prices from the 2015 UTracks brochure, with more than 340 itineraries available, including boat, bike and foot-based activities.

Etihad Airways has today deployed mobile and internet connectivity across its entire fleet of 24 Boeing 777 passenger aircrafts, only months before the airline’s entire 89-strong fleet of passenger aircraft become connected.

The inflight connectivity services include WiFi, mobile services and Live TV, allowing passengers to surf the internet, make and receive phone calls and texts, and update social media on their various devices.

Aloft Hotels, part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has today announced the opening of Aloft Seoul Gangnam, which will bring a hotel focused on live music, design initiatives and new technology to South Korea.

Aloft Seoul Gangnam features 188 urban guest rooms, signature features like platform beds and walk-in showers, and business and entertainment facilities such as plug-n-play docking stations and LCD TVs.
