TravelManagers’ New South Wales based personal travel managers, recently enjoyed an exclusive product update combined luncheon hosted by partner supplier Buffalo Tours who specialise in Indochina.

Three of Buffalo Tours key Asian suppliers, Air Marketing Asia Pacific who represent Bhaya Cruises and AU CO Cruises Halong Bay, Song Saa Private Island Resort in Cambodia and Kamalaya Ko Samui also attended the lunch.

Collectively, these suppliers provided the personal travel managers with a comprehensive destination and product update on Indochina as well as neighbouring countries Thailand and Myanmar.

TravelManagers executive general manager, Michael Gazal said Buffalo Tours and TravelManagers’ have a long established partnership that was formed in 2008.

“The company although based in Vietnam has a Sydney office and the personal travel managers gain huge value from having one-on-one time with the suppliers, which is why these type of product updates work so well.” Gazal said.

The 13 participating personal travel managers were Kylie Cliek, Sue Kuti, Sarena Taylor, Lyn Tyson, Cathy Moir, Michelle Michael-Pecora, Carolyn Burgmann, Alma Aurallo, Teresa Reyes, Julianne Gazal-Rizk, Ugi Kazokas, Janice Lee, Beverley Burt and business partnership managers David McCarthy and Julie Anderson.

The highlight of the luncheon was the grand prize that offered a two night stay in Hanoi and three days aboard an AU CO cruise on Halong Bay and the Gulf of Tonkin.

Personal travel manager, Teresa Reyes won the main prize through a business card draw. Surprised to have won the grand prize, Reyes expressed her excitement in going back to Vietnam, “I can't wait to go back to Vietnam, this time experiencing this incredibly diverse and cultural country with my husband. With my personal experiences I look forward to inspiring my clients to experience Vietnam for themselves.” Reyes said.

Buffalo Tours general manager Australia Katherine Lord, for explained that personal experience is the only way to truly sell a product with confidence.

“We were thrilled to reward one personal travel manager with an opportunity to experience the products for themselves. We know once Theresa has further experienced Vietnam she will be an even more passionate supporter. We love working with TravelManagers’ as the personal travel managers are backed up by strong state and national support. Knowing there is a comprehensive overall approach is important to us,” Lord said.
