The new Darwin Qantas Club is in final stages of construction that will see the lounge doubled in size.  Due to open to customers in late September, the expanded lounge that will cater for business and premium leisure travel is part of the airline’s ongoing investment in customer experience.

Qantas domestic head of customer strategy Philip Capps said the Darwin lounge has been very popular but its customers wanted more space and seating, something the new lounge will deliver on and more.

 

Cosmos is offering savings of $300 per couple on its most popular Asian tour itineraries for 2015 departures.

Savings are available on tours booked by 7 October 7 2014, and includes itineraries in China, Vietnam, India, Japan, Sri Lanka and Thailand.

 

Etihad Airways has signed the transaction implementation agreement which will result in a $2.5 billion investment to build a reinvigorated Alitalia as a competitive, sustainably profitable business.

The recapitalised Italian national airline will see a revitalised brand with greater focus on Italian tourism and trade promotion. 

Travellers will be able to benefit from a wider choice of destinations while new global connections the will boost inbound tourism.

 

Travelmarvel is delivering more through its new Africa program, featuring double the departures, new destinations and itineraries, and included internal flights.

The added departures to Africa in 2015, to meet increased demand for the destination, will include the addition of Tanzania and the chance to enhance trips with extensions such as Blue Train Gorillas of Rwanda and Zanzibar.
