The deputy mayor of Frankston, Cr Colin Hampton, officially opened Quest Frankston on the Bay at an exclusive cocktail party for key local business and tourism identities last week.

The 82-apartment property occupies four floors with the new 10-storey Peninsula on the Bay complex in Frankston.

Hampton highlighted the strength of the local economy with Frankston now recognised as a key business and industrial hub.

“Quest has shown confidence in our city by opening a second property in Frankston and this is a result of demand for quality accommodation from businesses investing and working in the area,” he said.

“It is a wonderful addition to our city particularly with increasing demand for accommodation predicted when the new Regional Aquatic Centre is completed in 2014 and the relocation of South East Water across the road in 2015,” he added.

Quest also announced a $2,000 donation to local charity Menzies Caring For Kids which provides care for vulnerable children and young people in need of accommodation and protection from abuse.
