Cruise Holidays has launched a new consumer advertising campaign to highlight the benefits of booking through a cruise specialist.

The campaign includes print, electronic and direct mail components and features the firm's new logo, with Australia the first company in Cruise Holidays' international network to roll it out.

Excite Holidays has appointed Richard McKisack as one of its business development managers for NSW.

McKisack will focus on developing the company’s relationships with existing clients and seeking new business opportunities across the state.

Victorian taxi reforms will make tourism in the state more competitive, according to the Australian Tourism Export Council.

The measures will improve the quality, capacity and price of taxi services available to local, domestic and international travellers, managing director Felicia Mariani said.

Regional Express has acquired a SAAB 340 full flight simulator from FlightSafety International, the youngest of its type in the world.

It will be installed at the Australian Airline Pilot Academy (AAPA) in Wagga Wagga.
