Flight Centre announces Escape route

Good old Flight Centre has done it again, creating new escapes for Infinity Holidays.

This week the wholesaler has started offering a suite of packages that offer customers more value, easier access and a top notch product in the market.

These ‘Escapes’ packages vary in length from three to 14 days and allow the customer to choose from an array of vetted hotels and tours as well as including transfers.

Travel providers are continuously striving to strike a balance between simplicity, flexibility, value and choice, and Flight Centre thinks it’s hit the money with these products.

The agency’s ‘Beach Escapes’ were launched this week through Infinity Holidays, but these are just the first incarnation of an integrated approach to product and marketing that will allow customers to choose accommodation from a selection of nine “Collection” hotels; three “Essentials”, three “Value” and three “Premium”.

The customer can choose up to three tours from between five and nine options, with transfers included.

The complete package will be offered at a reduced rate, but the unique feature is that customers will receive a concierge call prior to departure to ensure everything is in order for their Escape.

These calls will offer additional destination info, airline seating, visa check, insurance checks and more, while on their return, customers score a complimentary photo book and $150 credit for their next Escape.

Tours are bookable when in the destination, giving the customer ultimate flexibility.

Destinations included in the ‘Beach Escapes’ packages are Fiji, Bali, Koh Samui, Phuket, Mauritius & Hanoi/Da Nang.  City Escapes and Family Escapes will also be launched in the not too distant future.

In the next few months Flight Centre will also be launching a longer duration cousin of Escapes called Journeys. Journeys are experienced based itineraries travelling to multiple destinations, creating a unique inspirational travel experience far superior to what a customer can find for themselves.

The Escapes and Journeys offer both consultants and customers simplicity and flexibility without compromising on choice. Escapes will only be able to be purchased through Infinity Holidays, either over the phone or through inControl, Infinity’s retail agent booking interface.
