Aussies reveal their dream travel partners

If Aussies had their way, they’d like to crown their holidays off with the addition of a royal guest.

It turns out Prince Harry has been named the ideal travel companion in a recent poll conducted on behalf of HotelClub.com.

Coming in second is the prince’s sister-in-law Kate Middleton, with actress/UN ambassador Angelina Jolie third.

Jolie’s husband, Brad Pitt, didn’t fare as well as his wife, sharing eighth spot with Leonardo DiCaprio.

It also seems Aussies would like to be serenaded while on holidays, with pop stars Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran and Mariah Carey all making the top 10.

When it comes to local stars, all-singing/all-dancing/all-acting Hugh Jackman takes out the top spot of ideal Australian travel companions.

But Aussies want their funny bone tickled while travelling the world, with comedy actress Rebel Wilson their second most desired Aussie travel companion.

As for the person they would least like to have with them, that crown goes to Justin Bieber, with Kim Kardashian and her husband Kanye West in a close second and third place.

Some stars, including Mariah Carey and Brad Pitt, made it on to both lists, as did the most popular, Prince Harry.

But locally the man who has frequently makes it to the top of the least popular lists, Kyle Sandilands, was also the Aussie most people wanted to leave at home.
