Aussie wholesaler expands to New Zealand

After 30 years of serving the Australian market, Sun Island Tours has opened an office across the ditch.

The company’s New Zealand-based team consists of senior staff Kathy Peterson and Sarah Beedell. Supporting them through the set-up stages is Greg Osborne, who has more than 45 years of industry experience.

Based in Auckland, Sun Island Tours NZ will be ready to take calls and reservations from Monday.

Sun Island Tours general manager John Polyviou said: “Kiwis are known as some of the world’s most intrepid travellers, always in search of and ready for their next big adventure.

“The team at Sun Island is very much looking forward to helping NZ agents and their clients make those plans come to life.”

Sun Island Tours offers a wide range of tours and independent arrangements to Greece, Turkey, Cyprus, Italy, Malta, Spain, Portugal, Egypt, Jordan, Israel, Slovenia, Switzerland, and central Europe.

It also offers a wide range of cruises and tours throughout Croatia and the Dalmatian coastline.

Agents will receive Sun Island’s brochures in March, with additional brochures available for order through Brochurenet.
